A downloadable game

The present, as the name suggests, is a campaign module inspired by the first hour of Final Fantasy 3, taking the content from both the original Famicom version and 3D Remakes. It is made to be system agnostic, although it is geared towards Old School Essentials™ and D&D™  B/X for starting characters of level 1 and onwards.

The Adventure assumes some familiarization with the game, although it also assumes that DMs are still new in the role, so it will attempt to offer tips for running these adventures, Some terms have been left vague and without description too, especially monster skills, so that if you are running a less traditional system, you can adapt it more easily to make it up on the fly to your personal interpretation.

Why Final Fantasy 3 though? Simply put it is my first and most beloved Final Fantasy, I played it ever since I got my first DS when I was 9 years old, and It would be fitting to say that it blew me away, as despite its simplistic storyline and world, specially compared to other main line entries, it introduced me to the concept of Role-playing games in general, something I will be forever grateful.

Enough said, this module offers tons of opportunities for sandboxing, giving tons of random generators and tables so that two groups will never have the same experience, regardless if they tackle all contents provided in this book or not. It would make many changes to the original story, as the chosen one storyline depicted in the game very rarely adapts well to tabletop RPGs. Nonetheless, a big effort was put to at least stick to the themes and world of FF3, so that any potential veteran on the series could recognize the nods made within the pages here displayed.

To add a little spice to this little project, I made myself the challenge to only use Free Online Tools, despite the limitations they may have. This is not meant to be a professional product, so industry standards for art and editing are not something I decided to concern myself with. Still, I made sure to make up for providing the best quality of design I could provide, so this module should be easy to reference, modify and integrate to almost any context and pre-existing campaign world.

If you have any feedback please contact me, thank you for reading and hope this can be useful on your table!
